Relationship Counselling
For Couples Who Want More Connection, Less Chaos, and a Deeper Understanding (Especially If ADHD or Late Diagnosis Is in the Mix)
Feeling stuck in a loop? Arguing over the same things again and again? Drifting apart? Wondering how something that started with so much love now feels… disconnected?
You're not alone… and you’re not broken. Relationships (especially neurodiverse ones) are complex, layered, and impacted by so many invisible factors. Whether it’s communication challenges, emotional mismatches, burnout from masking, parenting stress, or just plain “we’ve lost each other,” the truth is: things can change.
As a therapist with a special interest in late-diagnosed neurodivergence and ADHD in relationships, I work with couples who are ready to rebuild their connection, repair trust, and rewrite the story they tell themselves about their relationship.
Together, we’ll create a space where both partners feel heard, understood, and supported…even when one (or both) of you thinks and processes the world a little differently.
What You Can Expect
In our sessions, we use a blend of Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming approaches to:
Understand and shift stuck patterns
Learn how to communicate (and actually feel heard)
Repair trust and reduce conflict cycles
Rekindle emotional and physical intimacy
Navigate the impact of late diagnosis, masking, or executive functioning challenges
Build rituals of connection and shared meaning
Every session is tailored to you - not a generic formula.
Common Challenges That Bring Couples to Therapy
ADHD, Autism, or other neurodivergence impacting communication, memory, or connection
Affairs, crossed boundaries, or ruptured trust
Constant conflict or shut-downs (hello, emotional whiplash)
Mismatched intimacy needs or sensory sensitivities
Parenting or co-parenting stress, especially in blended or ND families
Overwhelm from work, study, and mental load imbalance
Extended family dynamics, cultural expectations, or chronic people-pleasing
Life transitions: moving in, getting married, having a baby — or even wondering should we stay together?
Is This Just for Neurodivergent Couples?
Not at all. I work with all kinds of couples - queer, straight, monogamous, polyam, married, just-dating, and everything in between. But if ADHD, autism, or late-in-life diagnosis is part of your story, you’ll find a space here that understands how those things impact connection, conflict, and closeness.
This Work Is for You If:
You want to learn how to stop fighting and start actually resolving things
You want your needs and emotions to be taken seriously (and learn how to offer that in return)
You’ve had a late ADHD diagnosis and are now untangling the impact on your relationship
You’re tired of surface-level advice and want real tools grounded in evidence and empathy
You’re ready to reconnect — or get clear about what’s next
Let’s rebuild trust, communication, and connection, in a way that honours both of you.
Because when you feel safe enough to show up as your real self in a relationship?
That’s where the magic (and the healing) begins.
